WE’VE GOT PODCAST FEVER!!
Recently, the studios have been busy with podcast bookings on both a small and large scale. One of the latest projects saw us collaborating with the Dishout Podcast team on a larger-scale, custom-built podcast production, developed specifically for their format and audience.
From early conversations we worked closely with the podcast team to focus on creating a bespoke set design and studio setup that supported both the visual identity of the podcast and the technical demands of a multi-camera, live-cut production. The podcast format was a mulitple episode season where a guest would be interviewd in each episode, so the set design had to be purposeful, camera-ready, and repeatable for future episodes.
our role
From concept to camera-ready, Spaghetti Studios handled every element of the production. We built a custom set complete with props designed to match the Dishout Podcast’s style, then layered in professional lighting to give the space a polished, broadcast-ready look. Multiple cameras captured considered angles of both the presenters and guests, while our broadcast-quality sound setup ensured every word came through crystal clear. Using our in-house live gallery, we monitored mixed and cut the show in real time.
Every part of the process was designed to let the presenters focus on the content while we managed the technical side, turning the studio into a seamless production environment.
Live Cutting & Instant Delivery
Live cutting plays a key role in modern podcast workflows, especially for video-led formats. By handling vision mixing, audio, and recording live, the production avoided lengthy post-production processes while maintaining a polished, broadcast-ready finish.
Using our in-house live gallery and streaming equipment, the podcast was recorded with a live video and audio cut, allowing the presenters to leave the studio with an instantly usable edit.
Collaborative Set Design
Rather than dropping into a pre-built setup, this project was developed collaboratively with the Dishout team. Together, we worked through the look, layout, and practical requirements of the set ensuring it supported both the tone of the podcast and the technical demands of filming.
The final set was designed and built in-house by us, using our own props and scenic elements to create a space that felt purposeful, camera-ready, and repeatable for future episodes.
A Growing Focus on Podcast Production
Podcast production continues to be a growing part of studio-based content, and projects like this highlight how flexible studio spaces can support everything from audio-first shows to fully produced, multi-camera video podcasts. With adaptable sets, in-house technical infrastructure, and collaborative workflows, Spaghetti Studios is set up to support podcasts at every stage from concept through to final delivery.
